Python is used around the globe. It’s biggest advantage, arguably, is the fact that it can be easily ported between different operating system which makes it extremely usable in various scenarios, for example in the exchange of medical data between hospitals using different systems. That’s what this site is about. As someone who uses it frequently, I just think its cool to see where a programming language is applied. And for those of you who just see source code and then a lot of questionmarks: Here is what we do all day (well, not me, technically – but you get the idea).
